We have successfully upgraded our certification from WMAI's Level 1 Provider to Level 2 Provider!
This certification is not merely decorative, but a commitment to every participant: we provide professional, reliable, and systematic safety measures capable of handling various emergencies that may occur beyond urban areas in natural environments.
Wilderness First Aid:
Not a Backup Plan, but a Core Skill
Whether hiking deep into the forests of Shennongjia or navigating slippery trails in the rain, minor injuries or temperature drops can quickly become serious situations.
We believe that those who take young people into the wild must also have the ability to bring them home safely.
Wilderness First Aid is not about making us doctors - it's about providing immediate support with limited resources in remote settings, safeguarding participants until proper medical intervention becomes available.
What Is the WMAI Level 2 Standard
WMAI is one of the world’s leading organizations in wilderness medical training.
Level 2 Certification requires:
✅ At least 6 team members with valid WFA / WAFA / WFR certifications (valid for 12+ months)
✅ At least 2 members certified at WAFA or WFR level
✅ A structured emergency protocol, complete equipment setup, and training system
✅ Safety management embedded into daily operations—not just a checklist
OBCC now meets these standards and is committed to embedding them across all courses.
